Size & Type of Project This project received prominent mention in Mayor O’Malley’s 2004 State of the City Address. The Zenith will be the first high-rise apartment building constructed in Baltimore’s inner harbor in more than a decade. Located directly north of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the 21 story tower with its glass curtain wall façade will offer stunning panoramas of the Baltimore waterfront and skyline.
The upscale housing complex will have a 253 space parking garage and approximately 200 residential units. Ground level retail and restaurants will complement the facility. Structural design began in summer 2004. Structural construction was topped out in fall 2006. Construction completion is expected on time in August 2007 at a cost of $46 Million. The project consists of approximately 318,000 gross framed square feet. Elevated decks utilize post-tension concrete framing.
